Yeah, I remember working with the CPF level 3 guys. I once did something that wasn't officially supported (I called out on a bisync modem but wanted to be the slave rather than the master) but also wasn't specifically NOT supported by the manual. I was on the phone with the guy who actually wrote that part of the code, listening to him say "Gz, I never figured someone would do THAT. Alright, I'll get you a patch later today." And he did!
