The boon from this is basically that you get scoped tags so you can mix libraries easily. That is very nice.
Not come up with with a comprehensive new tag language.
Following the Ruby on Rails mantra of convention over configuration I'd probably insert record delimeters into HTML files with record names that correspond to externally defined data structure names. And use the same approach with field delimiters and names.If nothing else survives from RoR I hope this will be it. Life is too short to XML configuration files...
