By far the best tool I've ever used. It's not entirely intuitive, but that's partly because it's so sophisticated. It allows you to record and modify scripts, and modify the entry fields using hard-coded data or tell it to use data sent from the server (crucial for session IDs and so on), and then replay the whole thing.

It's also a full-blown load testing tool, allowing you to easily add dozens or even hundreds of users, recording response times and graphing it and all that good stuff. But the script recording and automation is what you need, and nobody does it better.

Hi all,
my apologies if this is in the archive - I am looking.
I wanted to float this to the group.
The ideal software for this task would record a transaction and replay
it over and over in IE and/or FireFox. I am starting to think I need
to "write" the software to do this.

FWIW, I have used roboform (a great product) for years but I still
have to sit there and click the enter buttons for next screen.

Let's say you have a transaction site you want to automate testing for.
You record the script.
Then change the contents,i.e. - names, items, quantity, etc.
To exercise the site to see if your changes broke anything.
The should be easy enough to record as a script and repeat 100 times.
Even better would be ready the parms out of a table somewhere.

Anyone tackle this automation? - which is quite different than load testing.
