Terry,

I assume you're using Apache on a fairly recent version of the Os. If so, I
stopped using Exec directives for CGI a while ago and use include virtual
for all of them now. Try that and see if it helps.

Subject: Re: [WEB400] Exec cgi command not working

Matt,
It is an actual CGI program and it will run correctly when called
from the browser.

The one of the things that has me confused, is the path in the
error log. It is saying that /qsys.lib/citcgidev.lib/www is not a
cgi program. When I look at the CGIDEBUG file, the call in the
HTML is <!--#exec cgi="/citcgidevp/header"-->. Where is the
incorrect path coming from?

Terry,

Is /citcgidevp/header an actual CGI program
<http://archive.midrange.com/web400/200711/msg00027.html> ? If so, can you
call it from a browser? If it's a static HTML
<http://archive.midrange.com/web400/200711/msg00027.html> file, don't use
exec >>cgi, use include virtual.

Matt
