Re: .NET Connection from WebServer to iSeries

Would the Connection panel in the Properties dialog provide what is needed?

I thought this panel was in the iSeries Access for Windows Properties
program (in the iSeries Access program group), but I found this in the
iSeries Navigator (right-click on the system name, select Properties).

The Help file for the "Performance" section indicates that Standard will use
the standard ports, Local will let you supply a file on the PC with the
ports.

We've worked with:

TCP/449 (port-mapper)
TCP/8476 (authentication)
TCP/8471 (data access)

Assuming you've not changed the ports on the 400 side. Port 449 is
always the one that bugs me, wish I could hard-code the ports, but I've
not found a way.
