Im following the IBM Redbook "IBM HTTP Server (powered by Apache)" appendix
B instructions to install Tomcat. When I try starting it, I get the
following message:

./startup.sh

./catalina.sh: 001-0019 Error found searching for command tty. No such path
or directory.

Using CATALINA_BASE: /home/apache-tomcat-5.5.23

Using CATALINA_HOME: /home/apache-tomcat-5.5.23

Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /home/apache-tomcat-5.5.23/temp

Using JRE_HOME: /qibm/proddata/java400/jdk15

Does anyone have any idea what this means and how to resolve it?
