Jim,
The web GUI sucks for this type of work. It's much easier to just edit
httpd.conf by hand. Go to
http://httpd.apache.org and look under the
version 2.0 documentation. There is an example of setting up virtual
hosts (I think it's in the "How-To" area). You want to set up name based
virtual hosts unless you are using SSL. If you are using SSL, you will
have to use IP based virtual hosts.
Also, if you search the archives for virtual host, you will probably
find a bunch of information on setting these up.

Subject: [WEB400] Creating a subdomain
I'm looking for some examples of how to create at subdomain via "IBM Web
administration for i5/OS" I try as I might I can't seem to find any.
Maybe
because it's Monday or maybe because it's just me. I've looked in the
archives, and googled the web but not come up with anything.
We have a site x.com that I'd like to setup a subdomain of y.x.com since
site "Y" will have a different home page, but use a lot of the same
libraries, files, etc as site "X" and also that is it is configured now
under a different server.
If anyone knows where I can find some examples of setting this up; I'd
appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!
