We have created a Java web-application that uses Java version 1.4. I have
been trying to deploy this application in an ASF Tomcat server on the
iSeries. However, I have read somewhere that ASF Tomcat just supports
version 1.2 and version 1.3. Is there a way to deploy an application
written with version 1.4 in an ASF Tomcat server, or should I look for
another server? In that case, what are the possibilities? Should I install
a stand-alone Tomcat server in the IFS? Any suggestions for webpages
describing the installation process in a detailed step-by-step way?
