The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
One other thing/prototype I am working on right now is getting Ruby On Rails
running "natively" on the System i5 and that(RoR) claims to have some
serious RAD strategies (coupled with some vices if you go outside of the
patterns). Don't know if you would want to do something that wasn't fully
supported (i.e. RoR on i5) but that would be up to you.
The concept is to develop RoR apps like you normally would on your PC and
then utilize JRuby to port it to Java and then in the end run it in Tomcat
on the i5.

Note that this is purely a "fun" recommendation as I can't speak for the
complexity of what this would create, but it sure would be cool to implement
:-)
Happy trails,
Aaron Bartell
