Do you have the latitude and longitude values of each of your locations?
If so, the math is explained pretty well at

ml. If you need the latitude and longitude values, you can get a zip
code level list at
http://www.zipcodedownload.com/. This site also has
sample code but not in RPG or SQL.

I am looking at some app that will show all the locations near a

point. I mean, here is my address, find all the iSeries user groups that

within 50 miles of me. I have searched, googled and it appears that I
should of paid more attention in math class. I found that lat and lon

sin and cos are big in this.
Does anyone have something in RPG or SQL on the iSeries that will do
this?
