Piece of cake, James.

The Java Toolbox (JTOpen) will allow a Java program on any machine
(including a servlet under Tomcat) to call a program on the iSeries. The
machine has to be at V4R4 or above, I believe, but that's pretty much the
only issue.

You'll need to give the Tomcat program a user ID and password for the
iSeries; I suggest locking that profile down very tightly.

I'm thinking this is impossible, but it can't hurt to ask:

We have an RPGIII program that calculates the price of a given item based
on a given customer number. We are writing a tomcat application that
shows current inventory and we would like to show the prices of items for
customers who log in to tomcat. Is there a way to call the RPGIII program
to get hose prices? tomcat is running on a linux box, not the iseries.
