I don't think I have used BOTH IIS and Apache/Tomcat in the same web appl.
I think it depends on your definition of "application." From a pure technical point of view, defining an "application" as something in a single JVM, or an ASP application.xxx object, then no you can't share applications between the two. However, using a more practical definition of an application being a common set of web pages that appear to act as a unit, sure you can have as many different web technologies in a single application as you wish. We run an application that is a combination of Coldfusion/JSP and ASP.Net where the users are moving from one technology to the other w/out ever knowing they're switching. -Walden
