Hi Griz,If you haven't already done so, I think you might get a lot of benefit from stepping through the W3 schools tutorials on SOAP and WSDL.
http://www.w3schools.com/soap/default.asp http://www.w3schools.com/wsdl/default.aspOnce you've written your WSDL document, try going to the following Web site:
http://soapclient.com/SoapTest.htmlIt'll parse your WSDL file, and you can then use it to see the request and response SOAP messages that would be generated for it.
This'll give you a good idea of the relationship between the SOAP messages and the WSDL document.
I don't know what XmlHttp is, so I can't help you there. --- Scott Klement http://www.scottklement.com On Thu, 23 Feb 2006, Grizzly Malchow wrote:
Ok, As near as I can figure I have a working WSDL in place. To be more precise, I was able to validate the file with WDSc WSDL editor. It said the file is valid. I guess I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm not really sure how to reference the WSDL in the SOAP statement. Also I'm not entirely sure how I would go about posting the soap statement to execute my program. One test I did was to use JavaScript and XmlHttp to post the xml data including the soap statement to an RPG program. I don't think this is what I want though. Am I right in thinking that I want the SOAP statement to execute my program?
