Thanks Sarah! "The JavaScript code you wrote is checking the value of the checkbox, which is always the same. You need to check the state ( ie is it checked or no) of the checkbox, which can be done as follows: alert( Form1.rating.checked);" ===> I changed it from "value" to "checked" and you were correct! I was not undertanding the concept. "Also, why are you building the QueryString in your Javascript function when the form is using the POST method?" ===> Definitively, this is also lack of understanding. I just copied a previous script and put it to work. I think is because with JS was easy to build the string and have all the required parameters for the next page... I guess... I am open to recommendations, please. "What programming language is "Top20CusSum/report" written in?" ===> It is a combination of Net.Data and HTML, wrapped up in CGI... I am reading data from the iSeries. By the way, I will be developing the same thing but using CGIDEV and because I did not had time to start reviewing this material, I decided to work this project like this and then using CGIDEV... the feedback I have read from the list is that is the easiest thing to do... About the JS thing, I will check the "checked" parameter and explore that area... Thanks again Sarah!
