problem with http instance

I was finally able to get the http instance to start up, original default 
http instance that is.....somehow I think the apache isntance would be 
better, but for now just playing around.

Can anyone tell me where the default docs (*html) are stored? I know that 
the apache instance stores them in the IFS under htdocs....but I am looking 
for the default root location.
