I jumped the gun here. aXes does provide mechanism by implementing KeyRing files
(certificate) in IFS, you still need certificate from recognised certificate
authorirty though. Need also certificate (KeyRing) passowrd to use.

If you do not want/need OS/400 DCM Application ID in the equation it is an
alternative. However, no one will use/pay for it as majority use DCM, so mute
point. This also mandates IBM DCM web interface to configure. A clumsy,
confusing and awkward interface that is used occassionally, reread manual each
use.
