We tried for weeks to get PHP working on V5R2 and were not successful.
Hopefully we will have better luck on V5R3. We are considering having a
consultant come in to assist.

<<<Reposted from Midrange-L>>>

I am wanting to get PHP set up on my iSeries.

I have the Redpiece "Bringing PHP to Your IBM eServer iSeries..."

I am completely illiterate on UNIX...

I am guessing I do a STRQSH to enter the UNIX shell, and I
Can navigate directories, but I can't execute the make or patch
commands...

Is there another step by step document, more for newbie's ?

Hopefully, the next release will have some support for PHP...
