Kevin, What is your goal? You can use a utility like PDF995 to print to a special driver from any Web browser to create a PDF file. The suggestion to look at iText is good. You can create an overlay with iText (just like you would with AFP printing) and then write your text to coordinates. It can be done from RPG using Java calls. In this case, if you are trying to preserve business logic in a print program that would indicate a problem and you may want to look at a rewrite. I wanted the HTML to PDF however because I have a web page that could be converted to PDF without a program rewrite. -----Original Message----- From: pennylancor@xxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pennylancor@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, January 21, 2005 12:32 PM To: Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries Subject: Re: [WEB400] Html to PDF utility I have used a free utility called CPYSPLSTMF. This utility consists of iSeries command, RPGLE and CL programs. The only drawback to this utility is that it doesn't handle overlays, but as long as the report you are trying to convert to a PDF is text only, it works great. You can download the source from iseriesnetwork.com or there are other download sites found using Google and searching for CPYSPLSTMF. -- Regards, Penny Lancor -------------- Original message -------------- > Is there an iSeries utility that will create a pdf document from an > html > document?
