Dave.

It is almost that simple as pointing to an IFS file. But
you're right, using an IFS file for a POST and a file
upload are two different animals.

I know with GETURI you specify a file in the ifS to
"upload" and it handles the rest. With Scott's APIs, I am
not sure how it works.

For example, with GETURI you would do the following:

GETURI URI('www.host.com/pathto.app')
DATA('field1=value1&field2=value2')
METHOD(*POST) UPFILE(*YES)
UPSTMF('/path/to/file.ext') UPFIELD(File)

URI is the server and path to make the request to.
DATA is the POST or GET data
METHOD is the method to use (POST, GET or HEAD)
UPFILE set to *YES says "I want to upload a file".
UPSTMF is the qualified path to the file to upload.
UPFIELD is the field name that is in the form to hold the
name of the file.

Hopefully Scott is reading and can help with his API... I
can tell you how to do it with my utitility...
