STRPCCMD doesn't require CA. It depends only on the emulator you use. Some accepts STRPCCMD others not. STRPCO enables further use of STRPCCMD on the job. When you run STRPCCMD, the AS/400 sends a special screen to the terminal. This screen contains a message informing that PCO.EXE (legacy) is not active and your PC command as hidden text. If the terminal or emulator doesn't support STRPCCMD, it just displays this screen like any others. If it supports STRPCCMD, it doesn't display the screen, but instead execute the requested PC command. As you can see, it's very easy to add this function in a 5250 emulator. - Jm Penasse > -----Message d'origine----- > De : web400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:web400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]De > la part de Bob Cozzi > Envoyé : jeudi 18 mars 2004 19:38 > À : 'Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries' > Objet : RE: [WEB400] Posting AS/400 data to web page > > > Yes, that works with Mochasoft too! > Cool, I never thought it would! > -Bob Cozzi > > > -----Original Message----- > From: web400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:web400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On > Behalf Of Bryan Dietz > Sent: Thursday, March 18, 2004 11:35 AM > To: Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries > Subject: RE: [WEB400] Posting AS/400 data to web page > > > > > > Alvin, give it a shot. open up the mochasoft emulator signon and type > STRPCO. > Do it on a pc that has CA loaded and one without.
