there are problems between various versions of Adobe Reader and MS IE. Sometimes, when loading within the page, you will get blank page. MS says it's Adobe. Adobe says it's MS. The Adobe Reader preferences has a checkbox whether to display with html page or open a new page. That checkbox has changed couple times in diff versions. jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Flaker, Jeff" <JFlaker@xxxxxxx> To: "Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries" <web400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, October 24, 2003 2:38 PM Subject: RE: [WEB400] How to get HTML to display PDF as part of larger HTML page Try this: http://www.planetpdf.com/mainpage.asp?webpageid=1682 Jeffrey Flaker Senior Programmer/Analyst Linens 'N Things 6 Brighton Rd Clifton, NJ 07015 Phone: 973-249-4384 Fax: 973-249-4901 http://www.lnt.com -----Original Message----- From: Shannon O'Donnell [ mailto:sodonnell@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Friday, October 24, 2003 2:17 PM To: Web Enabling the AS400 / iSeries Subject: [WEB400] How to get HTML to display PDF as part of larger HTML page Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to display a PDF file embedded in an HTML file. Now, I know if I just enter the URL to the PDF, it will display in my browser. What I want to do though is display the PDF as part of a larger HTML page. This seems like it would be pretty simple but for the life of me I am going brain dead trying to figure out the syntax for it. Any suggestions?
