Aaron, Don't know much about PHP, but we use Net.Data (which some say is PHP-like). Step-through debugging is impossible. You wind up displaying variable values and putting exit statements in the code to stop execution. We're working on getting logic out of our Net.Data code, but it's going to be a long process. But it will make it easier for us to get out of Net.Data and into J2EE, which is where I'd like to head. Mike E. "Bartell, Aaron L. Everything that I have read in books and the developers that I have talked to take the long way around for debugging. They write stuff to standard out over and over again until they find the logical error! Ouch. Thanks for the correction Hans. Does anybody else develop PHP here? What do you use for your IDE/Editor? A Google search on "PHP debugging" yielded about 638,000 hits. Were none of those pages useful? Cheers!
