I don't think varying length fields in DDS work with eRPG when it comes to the
HTML fields that match the DDS fiels to send the data in query strings. If
that's what you are asking...

Subject: [WEB400] DDS Field Size ??? for HTTP Form..

Afternoon,

Have a quick question on Field handling. I am building a form
that will have an RPG_CGI behind it. Some of the input is Describe Blah,
Blah, Blah Text area input with onChange javascript to limit the input
lengths. Now the final data file that results from this process is
actually going to be an MS Access PC file so my question is how are people
defining fields in DDS that will be Variable Length Text in Access, and
will be read across with via an ODBC connection.... Are you using Variable
Length DDS Fields ?? Or all fixed width 1000 character DDS fields ??

Thks,
JMS..
