I've been trying to set up and Apache server to run PERL scripts for some
third party software. I haven't met with much success so far. I installed
the iSeries Tools for Developers to get PERL up and running, and came up
with the following lines in my httpdconf file through some reading.

AddType application/x-httpd-perl .pl
Action application/x-httpd-perl /cgi-bin/perl/
ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/perl/ /www/myserver/webapps/perl/

<Directory /www/myserver/webapps/perl>
  Order Allow,Deny
  Allow From all
  Options +ExecCGI
</Directory>
