Hi all, I am having problems with Websphere and WebFacing. I am running OS/400 v5r1m0, Websphere Application Server Standard Edition version 3.5.6, and Websphere Development Studio for iSeries version 4.0. I really want a "read the manual" answer with references or an introduction to debugging the initial settings available with these products. I installed the above products and enough PTF's to get them all to work. I can access the basic example "hello world" servlet (/servlet/hello) which says to me that WebSphere is running on my AS/400. I compiled a few DDS screens and exported them as a "file system" to /QIBM/UserData/WebASAdv/default/hosts/default_host/TimeReporting (where TimeReporting is my example application). I then created and started the TimeReporting web application under the admin console. When I access http://as400.jrmc.org:81/TimeReporting/, I get error 404 for the root "/". What entries did I miss in the HTTP configuration (if any?) Where else should I look for problems? Where can I look for logging and error information? Also, should I be using the Original HTTP server or the Apache HTTP Server? Thank you all in advance, Glenn Howald Jefferson Regional Medical Center ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTICE: This email contains confidential or proprietary information that may be legally privileged.
