*admin works on classic too (though I do not know what is going on behind the curtain) We are on V5R1 here running classic, but on a 820, going well. I do not know if the OS is looking at model type - I would hope not. Sounds more like a config issue to me, or possibly PTF - are you current? please dump your config so we can see if anything jumps out. Have you had classic running previously to V5R1?
