The way I would go about this is to create a folder on the local PC which will contain anything I am working on. Go into the 'preferences' in your application to point to this new location.....Then I can create subfolders for specific projects or work. At this point all your data or "corralled" into one place....you can now move this main folder from the old pc to the new pc without much trouble and ALL your data will be in the new place. -----Original Message----- From: mekinser@tredegar.com [mailto:mekinser@tredegar.com] Sent: Monday, February 03, 2003 12:09 PM To: web400@midrange.com Subject: [WEB400] recovery methods for WSAD This email was in reference to WebSphere Application Studio ----- Forwarded by Mary Ellen Kinser/FilmRich/Tredegar on 02/03/2003 12:09 PM ----- Mary Ellen Kinser To: web400@midrange.com cc: 02/03/2003 Subject: recovery methods 11:57 AM In a situation where a new PC is to be installed, how would one move his application work from the old PC to the new PC. Also, if one wre wanting to backup his or her work for an existing application, how would one do that. If anyone can point me in the direction of literature explaining this, I would greatly appreciate it.
