Our purpose is to significantly reduce the interactive workload on our iSeries and also do some application modernization. I have been looking at the documentation for HATS - WebSphere Host Access Transformation Server (http://www-3.ibm.com/software/webservers/hats/about.html). From what I can tell HATS is simply transforming a 5250 data stream to HTML. This would NOT result in a reduction of interactive workload. Is this an accurate interpretation of what HATS is doing? Thank You Ron Hankey - CPIM Applications Programmer
