This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hello We are trying to find a way to convert our legacy interactive RPG programs to use something other than a 5250 based interface. Our purpose is to significantly reduce the interactive workload on our iSeries and also do some application modernization. I have been looking at the documentation for HATS - WebSphere Host Access Transformation Server (http://www-3.ibm.com/software/webservers/hats/about.html). From what I can tell HATS is simply transforming a 5250 data stream to HTML. This would NOT result in a reduction of interactive workload. Is this an accurate interpretation of what HATS is doing? Thank You Ron Hankey - CPIM Applications Programmer
