Both links generate a 185KB page, mostly blank. They look >fine in the browser, but a page that size takes a long time to download. That looks really strange. I'd understand gaps in the HTML part, then i'd guess "Net.Data", but not in the CSS-part of the page. What are you using to create the page, Joel? Any special logic while creating the CSS-part? The performance was very bad for the first request; now, after some time, i have good times (no clock, just me measuring) here in Austria (Europe). Excuse me adding a thing: When you refer to the W3C, wouldn't it be a good idea to have W3C-compliant code? Look: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.vamanet.com%2Fcgi-bin%2FABOUT&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&ss= When you're compliant, you can proudly add another nice looking logo to your page! Separating the css from the page into a file of its own makes it easy to check that for conformity, too. (antoher logo :-) By the way: checking your page is quite a good way to measure the time. You may divide the time by 2, as the stuff is sent to the W3C and then back to you. 0.02 Euro best regards / Mit freundlichen Grüssen Anton Gombkötö Avenum Technologie GmbH http://www.avenum.com
