Very Basic (?) Website Design Question(s)

Hi Folks,

My apologies if this is a no brainer.

We are a distributor and our main AS/400 software vendor offers a Web
Commerce hook into their main software package. In the Item Master file they
have a field which will hold a URL for a picture of the Item. The Web
Commerce software will check this and pull the picture into the web page if
it finds one for an Item Number being displayed.

We currently publish a catalog once a year that contains everything we sell,
with specs, pictures, etc. This is done on Macs running Adobe PageMaker.

Sooo, my question(s). We are in the planning stages for this website, how
are folks handling "images" ?

What packages are you using ?

Are you using a package that allows for easy cataloging of all these images,
etc ?
