Man is it tough to find a hard number on this one! Here's the scenario: Trying to sell an iSeries box big enough to run WebSphere results in an upgrade of about $100,000. Our app would be browser based, displacing a thick client (ASNA VRPG) app. We believe that moving to a browser based environment would save money over the thick client but can't find a single number that would back that up, although there are thousands of web sites making the same claim. Anybody got an actual study showing actual costs saved? --buck
