Aaron, Third party. spool-a-matic by gumbo. I don't have any idea of price or any specific experience with it (yet) but my client has been using it for a while now and have had no complaints. it comes with a command that will convert a spool file to just about anything (including all manner of pdfs), but of course it needs to know the spool file's job name. Rick -----original message------- >I'm trying to convert the spool file to a pdf for display, and I need the job name/number. Hey that is actually on my list of things to do. I am looking at writing a utility to create a spool file and the user can download it in whatever format they want - .xls, .txt, .pdf, .doc, etc. Are you converting it to PDF yourself or are you using third party software to do that?
