Yes this is what I have added in the past and what I am adding to my current
program.  I was just wondering if I was missing out on something.

Because the HTML is being created using different components and each
component could have their own <form>.

Right. Works as designed.

When changes by the user are of no interest, you can use hidden fields in
the submitted form.
