hmmm... the url you should be hitting is http://yourmachine.com:2001 Is
there a firewall rule that precludes 2001? You can create a new HTTP
instance by hand, but it is not overly simple. The admin is where you want
to be....

WRKHTTPCFG is a command line utility to build HTTP server config (in lieu of
admin. you may be able to copy the CONFIG instance and change it to suit
your needs....

hope that helps...

Subject: [WEB400] Server Instance

Hi I'm new in AS400.
I have to set my Company WebSever, I used HTTP Server
default for AS400.

I got a problem that i can't browse port 2001 as *ADMIN . if
i start HTTP server by command STRTCPSVR SERVER(*HTTP)
HTTPSVR(*ADMIN) to get administration by browser, that will
submit job at subsystem QHTTP, and the status is Listen. but
i can't get administration tools by browser ??? do you know
why ?

and how to make a new instance for HTTP configuration ? I
didn't find any command in QHTTPSVR library.

Did anyone know about this ? thanks for help.

best regards,

Fery Gideon
