This is the ONE case that I would use Netscape. It has a great Javascript debugger. Run the page with the script. Then, you'll get the little error notification. Type "javascript:" in the location bar and it will tell you the details. Don't even try with IE. It's terrible and doesn't tell you squat about the error or where it is in the code.
