>> I think you're one of those who like to play games according to rules, aren't you? So you do not feel good with this "solution", do you? You are correct Anton, I am not happy with this and am still looking for a "correct" solution. That said, any 'bug' which works this way in as many browsers as have been reported here probably qualifies as a feature <g> Since this is only a demo program - I'm going to leave it as-is for now. It is only a proof of concept and to have to introduce code to insert   all over the place so that I don't have to use <PRE> would just clutter up the program right now. The samples that result from my efforts, which involve the use of SPECIAL files to provide a really fast print-to-web conversion process for small reports will be available via our web site shortly - but if anyone wants a look-see now just send a private e-mail to jon.paris@halna.com. Thanks again for all the help I received here on the list and off it. +--- | This is the WEB400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to WEB400@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to WEB400-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to WEB400-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
