Thanks... After seeing David's message I thought I would try using a validation list check at the server level instead of at the application level...
I still havn't got it to work yet... but i have to be close, right? :-)

Yes use the environment variable.
REMOTE_USER=%ENVVAR set this in the define section, and then you can access $(REMOTE_USER)

Quick question, if using the Protect block... And a net.data macro, is there a way to retreive the user id? of a successful login?
