I guess I didn't fully explain the problem

Using the AS/400 HTTP server with protection enable with user id's

Once the user id is expired the password prompt doesn't accommodate changing
the password. Once the password is expired the user cannot log in.

Note: The user may or may not have access to Client Access which does
accommodate changing the password.

So the problem isn't that the profiles doesn't expire.... it is how to handle
them as they expire.

Thanks in advance

Andrew

Why not have a date function expire them?

I kinda like the idea of not having anything internal accessible ie.. a
file that contains the user ID's protected to the hilt, accessed using DDM
to the main server etc...

Does anyone have any suggestions etc... for managing password changes,
handling expired passwords.

We are using the standard HTTP server version V4M4.

It is required that we will be using user profiles not validation lists
because passwords must expire in 90 days.

Thanks in advance

Andrew
