Hi all,
the question / problem seems to occur to some users, who install IBM Bob on macOS.
The problem is, that after installation when the Bob IDE is startet, Bob simply doesn't show up. Neither the Bob "chat view" nor the Bob icon in the title bar (right of the Search field). It just looks like a VS Code installation with a fancy Bob picture in the middle.
This is a problem with file and folder permissions inside the macOS IBM Bob application package (the one in the /Applications folder), and after I got confirmation by IBM support, I have sketched a quick blog post both on my website and on TechXchange community:
