So I've read different things about PDM going away (currently on 7.5).--
But I still find myself using it. Why?
Compiling in RDi leaves a lot to be desired when using service programs.
Any errors during the binding step are all but "invisible" from purely RDi.
Ran into it again today... I have to use PDM to compile SQLRPGLE member
because I had a typo in the binding directory name.
In RDI is see
"CPF3C50 Program MYPROGRAM not created."
Not helpful.
Is there any (easy) way to see these types of errors?
