Hi Mark
You can use SEP debugging on 5250 - years ago I think I posted in these
lists my "17 easy steps" for doing that - it's really not all that bad! :)
In fact, I googled for that and found a reply post from you to me in
2012 at
https://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l/201208/msg00068.html#google_vignette
- in my post I have the link to how to do this.
Man, just how old are we? And still having a good time, right? :)

I haven't done debugging with VS Code code4i. It requires additional
ports and setup on the server, which isn't done where I work.wrote:

We are still using RDi 9.6. I just got a new Windows 11 laptop, and
adminhaving trouble installing RDi 9.6 on it.
- The single user install does nothing unless I install as an
--pack,user, but that installs into the Admin User's folders.
- The Admin install appears to work, and I can apply the license
wasbut when I try to connect to a host, the dialog appears, but it is
empty.
Is the only option to upgrade to 9.8?
What about VS Code? how does it's debug compare to SEP in RDi. (That
a--
game changer for me)?--
