It was introduced in 9.8.0.0 or so I believe.

We keep some preferences off so users can opt in.

Thank you, Steve. It looks like the Update Outline View parameter was unchecked, so I checked it, and so far it seems OK.

I am guessing when I migrated to the new version these Preference Settings were not brought over.
