Hi Eddie,
today I updated 4 machines - a modern Mac (Apple Silicone) and 3 Windows
10 machines.
One machine had Firewall problems - so I downloaded the fix pack ZIP and
installed with that - worked. The other machines downloaded without
problems via "Update" in RDi.
A new install of RDi 9.8.0.0 is easy - just unzip the original ZIP file
and use that. You will have to reinstall all plugins, but you might be able
to use your old workspace. But make a backup of the workspace first.
I have compiled some tips and tricks for RDi 9.8.0.x on my blog:
https://qpgmr.de/rdi98-tips-tricks
I have participated in the 9.8.0.0 and 9.8.0.1 betas - but I had to wait
for GA to post it.
HTH and kind regards,
Daniel

It would be nice if the fix pack actually worked. I couldn't install it
using the RDi functions and when I installed it manually, it rendered my
RDi useless. Still waiting on IBM to explain that and how to uninstall
fix pack and get back to version zero.best

Elden,
Before manually adding certificates to your local JVM, it's generally
ITpractice to check with your IT team to see how or why they are blocking
them. They may prefer to whitelist the site for all users.
One common issue besides Zscaler is LDAP Directory issues. Contact your
inDepartment to include this certificate if you are using LDAP over LDAPS.
It could also be that your Anti-Virus tool has "SSL Scanning" blocking
SSL/TLS. If that is the case, check with your IT Department on how to
proceed.
Here's how to get the IBM public.dhe.ibm.com certificate to install:
Open the repository
https://public.dhe.ibm.com/ibmdl/export/pub/software/awdtools/rdi/v98/
usinga browser.
You can then click on the URL, and click on the Connection is secure.
Then click on the Certificate is valid.
Once you have the certificate open, you can click Details, then at the
bottom you will see Export...
Export it and save the certificate.
Then you can follow Chris's instruction on adding that certificate,
nowthe name you saved instead of the Zscaler.cert.

Steve. I already did the update. I was just wanting to get the built in
update feature working properly. Because it has been failing since the
