Hi Javier,

The version of IM used to install RDI 9.6 will not be able to connect to
the online repository due to security updates performed on the repository.
The solution is to update the version of IM managing the RDI 9.6 image as
follows;

Download IM 1.9.2.4 following the download link on this page:
https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6967000#DNLD
Unzip (Extract All) the downloaded zip and run the installer in the
extracted image.

Start IM from the Start menu and open the IM settings and add the
following repository URL:

https://www.ibm.com/software/repositorymanager/com.ibm.rational.developer.ibmi.v96
Close the settings and try updating RDI 9.6 to 9.6.0.13 and it should now
be successful.

You may wish to consider going to 9.8 …
