I have zero issues with debug over VPN. I do have a Comcast Business
Internet circuit installed; VPN stays solid 12-14 hours a day. Latency is
90-100 ms.

VM one-to-one. Each developer has a specific role (Front-end, back-end or
full stack). Our case is simple since we don't need to connect to multiple
servers, only one location and only few developers :-).
Anyway doing a step-by-step debug using RDI without RDP is a nigthmare.
Maybe the latency of our connection is too high (or not stable).

Dedicated one-to-one for each developer?
Just curious.

We chose RDP solution 5 years ago and have never regretted it.
Especially using debug in RDI over a VPN is time consuming.

Hi,over
many developers I talk to complain that working with RDi when using it
VPN is very tedious, as all actions in RDi run very slowly.and
Does anyone have any idea if RDi performance can be improved when using
VPN?
I am also thinking about a Windows Server with Remote Desktop Services
RDi installed. Here the developers could connect to the Windows Servervia
RDP and then work with RDi in the local network. This should actuallyallow
developers working via VPN to work with RDi with good performance. Thisto
will
cost extra money, but certainly less than if the developers always have
wait for an action to finish in RDi. Has anyone ever implementedsomething
like this?
