On licensing. That's different too. You install the license like an add-on instead of using the "manage licenses" menu option. Check the readme for instructions.

I just downloaded RDi 9.8 from Passport Advantage. I haven't tried licensing it yet. The install is definitely different. Install is unzipping a folder to where you want it, and running the RDI.exe object. That's it. Feels a little like the ACS install.
Of course my PTC Implementer plug-in I use to manage source isn't compatible yet, so, may not be using this version very heavily until that is updated.
