Is something else going on? Use the task manager to see what's going on.
Are other applications running slow? You should see disk activity if this
is the case.

If there are no other processes sucking up resources, it's possible the
startup is waiting for a resource and is timing out.

Another possibility: your system drive (C:, usually) and/or your RDi drive
(C:, usually) may be very badly fragmented.

Are you current on Windows service packs? Have you rebooted recently? ***Did
you install the fix pack as Administrator?***
