Has anyone had an occasional "problem" with Rational where all of a
sudden, the PC CPU goes into about 25 to 30% usage on the RDI Java process
[then goes back down], and then from that point on, RDI is extremely slow,
and the keyboard responds like a teletype, seeming to buffer my keystrokes
and then displays them in bursts. Once that happens, I notice that the
lines in error do not always clear properly when fixed, even though the
verifier and green screen compiler show no errors.

I am running Version: 9.6.0.12 20220812_0616

FYI: It took about 6 seconds for the About box to come up. I have even
exited and restarted RDI and no change. I would rather not have to restart
my PC each time this happens.

This only happens in RDI. The PC guy said the Task Manager shows high Java
usage, but not out of the ordinary for any Windows job.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Doug
