Good point, Daniel. I haven't seen this problem in a long time and maybe
it's because of the upgrades. However, I have to confess a disclaimer here.
My shop started using debug passwords and RDi can't handle debug passwords.
So, I haven't been debugging recently at all via RDi.

The only time I've seen an issue with reset not working is when the

program I'm debugging fails (sitting in *MSGW state).

In those cases, I've needed to go out to the IBM i and cancel my failed

job (wkractjob), then make my changes, recreate the program, and reset the
SEP.

If this is not the case, please open a ticket with IBM Support so we can

have the Debug team work with you to diagnose the issue.

Thanks, but that has not work.
I have used the Reset option.
I have also just removed the SEP and then added it back.
But, once RDI stops intercepting the SEPs my only option (that I'm aware

of), is exiting RDI.

Once RDI stops intercepting the SEPs it does not work at all. Even if I

try to add an SEP for a different program.

program would be go to the SEP view, select the SEP of interest and click
the refresh button.

debugging in RDi I find that at times the SEP stops working and RDi will
not jump into debug when I execute my program.

This happens when I debug by setting an SEP, run the program, then make

some changes, then remove the SEP, then re-add the SEP.

I can do this multiple times, but then at some point RDI stops

intercepting the program execution.

My only solution to fixing this has been to shutdown RDi and restart.
Is there a better solution? Is there a way to reset the SEP?
