Hi Nathan,

Generally when a -clean (or signing on as Admin) works, it likely means you had issues with cached files that are out of date or had issues trying to access. (Default settings are 12 hours.)

You can view and clear the cache using the Windows -> Preferences -> and type cache in the filter text box in the upper left corner of the preferences (preferences finder).

You will notice there are File Cache values and IBM i Cache values. You will need to clear each.

You can also "Calculate" the size of the cache using the IBM i, Calculate cache button.

If you continue to have issues with the cache, you can disable the feature. I'd suggest contacting IBM support so we can take a peek.

I am running RDi 9.6.0.11 and iSphere 5.2.4. The issue happened on earlier versions as well.

When I start up RDi the outline view is empty. This is inconsistent, not always happening. Even tried Source > Refresh Outline View. I've tried shutting down OV and Window > Show View > Outline to no avail.

For example, today I started RDi and OV was empty, so I shut it down a started again with run as administrator. I tried that 3 times. Then I went and started RDi as admin with -clean. This finally gave me an outline view.

Does anyone have an explanation or resolve to this issue?
